Protecting Yourself as a Designer

I really enjoyed this article. I think it gives some very helpful tips. I completely agree when it says to take projects on that are inside your skill set. Although it can help to take a risk every once in a while and therefore, learn new skills and hone the ones you currently have, it’d be a big mistake to push your boundaries too much.

Don’t get me wrong, pushing the boundaries and stepping outside one’s comfort zone can be a really good thing. It makes you grow as a designer, you learn a lot and it better prepares you for future projects. The key is to know where the line lies between a healthy challenge and a project destined to give you stress.
